What 75 weeks of consistency taught me...

It wasn’t willpower - it was tracking.

A few days ago I checked something I don’t usually think about.

I’ve posted every single day for 75 weeks straight.
That’s just over 17 months of showing up without a break.

No resets. No missed days. No ‘breaks’.

And it wasn’t willpower that made that happen.

If you struggle with consistency this email is for you.

What consistency actually looks like

From the outside, long streaks look impressive.
From the inside, they feel ordinary.

Most days weren’t dramatic.
Most days weren’t high-energy.
Some days I didn’t feel like posting at all.

The reason I didn’t quit wasn’t because I was motivated. It was because the decision was already made.

I didn’t wake up asking myself if I should show up.
I just checked what needed to be done.

Why tracking changed everything for me…

When I started tracking my habits, everything changed. Consistency stopped being emotional.

I wasn’t relying on how I felt.
I wasn’t guessing whether I’d been “good this week.”
I wasn’t negotiating with myself.

There was a record.

Every day came down to a simple question:
“Did I do it or not?”

That clarity removed friction. Tracking kept me accountable, but more importantly, it made the process enjoyable.

Watching weeks stack.
Seeing effort turn into evidence.
Knowing exactly where I stood.

The part most people miss

75 weeks didn’t feel special on week 2.
Or week 5.
Or even week 20.

Tracking matters most when progress feels boring.

That’s when people usually quit - not because it’s hard, but because it feels like nothing is happening.

Tracking is what keeps you in the game long enough for results to compound.

If you want this year to be different

Just make your habits visible.

Track:

  • habits that will change your life

  • every day

  • without judgment

Consistency becomes easier the moment it’s no longer invisible.

That’s why I made my habit tracker.

It’s the same system I use to track habits daily, weekly, and monthly - long enough for them to actually compound.

P.S. Consistency isn’t built by intensity. It’s built by staying long enough for progress to show up. Reply to this email and tell me your biggest goal this year.
